Welcome to VibeCheck! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VibeCheck mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Nature of the Service

• Communication & Tone Assistance: VibeCheck is an AI-powered communication assistant designed to help users evaluate text message tone, understand slang, identify potential passive-aggression, and brainstorm conversational comebacks.
• Not Professional or Clinical Advice: VibeCheck is provided for educational, informational, and entertainment purposes only. The Service does not provide licensed clinical psychology, marital counseling, medical diagnosis, or legal advice. You should always use your own judgment in personal relationships.

2. User Accounts & Anonymous Credits

• Trial & Rewarded Credits: New users receive complimentary trial credits. Additional credits may be earned by watching opt-in rewarded video ads or through promotional offers.
• Virtual Economy: Credits have no monetary cash value, cannot be exchanged for currency, and cannot be transferred between accounts or refunded.
• Fair Use: You agree not to use automated scripts, emulators, bots, or unauthorized tools to artificially inflate ad views or deplete server resources.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree that you will not:

• Submit or scan content that promotes illegal acts, child exploitation, self-harm, hate speech, or non-consensual sharing of intimate images.
• Use the Service to stalk, harass, defame, or intimidate another person.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or security of our backend servers.

4. Intellectual Property

• Our Property: The VibeCheck software, algorithms, branding, design system, Slang Radar lexicon, and all proprietary visual elements are the exclusive property of VibeCheck and its licensors.
• Your Content: You retain full ownership of any text or images you provide to the Service. By submitting text for analysis, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process that text in RAM solely to return your requested analysis.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT ANALYSES WILL ALWAYS BE 100% ACCURATE OR THAT SUGGESTED COMEBACKS WILL ACHIEVE ANY SPECIFIC OUTCOME IN YOUR CONVERSATIONS.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VIBECHECK AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY ACTIONS TAKEN BASED ON AI-GENERATED SUGGESTIONS.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior towards our systems.
